Overview:
This Monthly Energy Snapshot issued by the Utilities Regulatory Authority (the Authority) provides information and data on the electricity market in Vanuatu in November 2022. The information and data outlined are only for electricity utilities that are regulated by the Authority. During the month, the energy market experienced an increase in renewable energy contribution to total power produced. The UNELCO monthly adjusted electricity tariff for November 2022 decreased by 8.14 % from October 2022 tariff. The total power produced and sold by regulated utilities had increased from October 2022 total, by 9.74 % and 11.5% respectively.
