Maximum Price of Electricity for Vanuatu Utilities and Infrastructure (VUI) Ltd

Overview:
The Utilities Regulatory Authority (the Authority) has concluded the Vanuatu Utilities and Infrastructure Limited (VUI) tariff review in December of 2023 after receiving VUI's tariff application on 19th October 2023.
The Authority had consulted with VUI General Manager (GM) on the tariff determination. Acceptance of the Authority's tariff determination by VUI GM has allowed the Authority to hold consultations with VUI electricity customers in Luganville, Port Olry, Ambae, Maewo, and Vanua Lava in January of 2024. This tariff determination will be VUI's second full tariff review under its Concession Deed signed in 2019. The tariff determined is a uniform base tariff to be effective for three years beginning 2024 and ending 2026.
