The utility operating and managing the Water Supply network at Saratamata and Lolowai on the island of Ambae is the Department of Water Resources (DoWR.The Saratamata and Lolowai water network is a government-owned and operated water supply system. The Saratamata water supply system comes from five (5) boreholes.  

There are two (2) storage water tanks on the network. The first tank has a capacity of sixteen thousand (16,000) liters and the second twenty-four thousand (24,000) liters. Lolowai water supply system comes from a new desalination. 

There are currently Ninety-five (95) active customers on the network.
