The Authority approves the maximum price of 51 Vatu/kWh for VUI to apply to its electricity customers for the Solar Mini grid in Southwest Bay, Malekula. The approved tariff is outlined in the Authority's tariff determination of 03 July 2024 for Wintua/Lorlow Electrical Cooperative Society Limited.

The Utilities Regulatory Authority (the Authority) Commission is issuing this Electricity Tariff Commission Order under Section 18(1) of the Utilities Regulatory Authodty Act N o.71. of 2007 (as amended) for the Loltong Hydro Committee who is managing and operating the pico-hydro mini-grid in North Pentecost.
The tariff determined for the tariff period and to be applied by the Loltong Hydro Committee is Vt/kWh 78.06. This is a l2% reduction from the current tariff of Vt/k\fh 88.46.
