The Authority hereby issues a maximum tariff of 41.42 Vatu per kWh to be charged by the Wintua/Lorlow Electrical Cooperative Society Limited to its customers for each unit of electricity sold.

The Wintua/Lorlow base tariff of 41.42 Vatu per kWh is determined which covers a total annual cost of operations and maintenance of Vatu 687,049 for a forecasted annual demand of 16,589 kWh.

Overview: 

The Authority had issued a final decision and tariff determination of VT/kWh 50.66 which was not gazetted and to which VNPF filed its notice of grievance on 24 October 2022. Due to this, the tariff determination for Malekula and Tanna had been put on hold and the Authority request VANPAWA to revisit its operational cost and investment and make a new submission of its tariff application.
